I love to spot the hidden monster!
Dylan really loves the rhyming and flow in this book. We almost turn it into a song when reading it which is super fun for us both.
The illustrations are bold and beautiful and he loves to spot the hidden monster!
Dylan also found the ending funny when the monsters are being told off by the teacher.
It’s a book that toddlers can enjoy, but I think that it is also a great read for them to grow with – perhaps until they start nursery or even school!
We love it.

This glossy vibrant counting book is about teachers getting eaten by monsters one-by-one.
The story is written in a catchy rhyming verse by Ross Montgomery and the zany illustrations by Sarah Warburton are so detailed there is plenty for a young listener to pour over on every page.
Ten silly teachers have missed the last bus home. But LOOK – a shortcut through the forest! They’ll be back in time for tea! Off they skip, unaware that in the woods a hungry horde of mischievous and hilariously goofy monsters is waiting…
