My mummy read Swim, Shark, Swim with me. This book has taught me about saving the world!
I didn’t know sharks are so important. They have lots of different jobs to do and they swim all over the world. The pictures were really good ,but some were a bit scary.
I like shouting “Swim, Shark, Swim!” with my brother when we read the book together.
I want to meet a friendly shark, I don’t want to be eaten!

Swim around the world with Shark as he explores ocean forests and coastal reefs, meeting Hammerheads and Great Whites, stingrays and dolphins in a search for the place he calls home.
Children aged 5-8 years will enjoy learning new terminology and information through Dom’s use of rhyme and repetition. At the end of the book there is a list of interesting facts about sharks making it both a fun and educational choice of book.


Dom Conlon is a British poet and children’s author whose work, often inspired by space and nature, has earned Carnegie and Greenaway nominations. He leads poetry workshops in schools and libraries, and regularly appears on BBC Radio to share his love of cosmic and earthbound verse.
