I like all the pictures in this story, especially the unicorns
I liked the rainbow drawings on the front cover and the red sparkles. Actually I like all the pictures in this story, especially the unicorns who lived with Sophie Johnson.
I enjoyed this book because it was funny when Sophie ran the wrong way in the race. But I would not call her a superstar because she made a mistake.
I like this story but I don’t think she deserved to win the race because she took a short-cut and was not the fastest runner.

She’s about to attempt the longest, hardest race anyone has ever tried (also known as a fun run) and she’s taking her training very seriously, as you can well imagine if you are already familiar with Sophie from the other popular titles by this creative duo.

Morag Hood is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She holds an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art and previously earned a BA in Costume Design from Wimbledon College of Art. Her work, often created using lino printing and collage, celebrates themes of friendship, difference, and imagination in a playful, minimalist style.

Ella Okstad is a Norwegian children’s book illustrator based in Trondheim. She studied illustration at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in the UK and has since worked with publishers across Norway, the UK, and the US, creating charming, quirky art full of humour and mischief.
