I'm happy Egg found Pip again and had her baby there in his branches
Mum says – This is a delightful book of friendship about Pip and Egg, Pip grows into a tree and Egg develops into a beautiful bird.
Their lives grow together and then apart and then they find each other again and Egg builds her home and hatches her egg in Pip’s branches. It is a beautiful story with colourful illustrations. we really enjoyed reading it – thank you

About the Book
This lovely picture book about friendship and support for each other is the product of a collaboration between the creative team Alex Latimer and illustrator David Litchfield.
Pip is a seed from a glorious tree, and Egg is a bird’s egg from a nearby nest. When Pip and Egg first meet, they are almost the same size and shape – like two peas in a pod and they become firm friends.
But they start to grow and they grow differently – for Pip this means growing roots, but egg grows wings and flies away. Though Pip wishes he can follow Egg on her adventures, his roots are strong so he has to stay in the same place.
Happily true friends always find their way back to one another, and we find out that there are no truer friends than Pip and Egg.
