My favourite part was when the children roared at the tiger
Laurie:
I really liked Once Upon a Tiger- it was magical! My favourite part was when the children roared at the tiger. I liked joining in with the roaring too!
There was so much to look at on each page, and I spent a lot of time pointing out all the different animals.
Mum:
Once Upon a Tiger is a beautiful book that really captures a young child’s imagination. The story is gentle and engaging, with lovely illustrations that give little ones plenty to look at and discover.
A particularly funny part was when the children roared back at the tiger. My child loved joining in, which made reading the story together even more enjoyable.
It’s a lovely book to share together and encourages children to use their imagination while exploring the pictures. A beautiful addition to any little one’s bookshelf, especially for children who love animals and imaginative stories.

One day, a grumpy tiger wakes to find not one, not two, but three child-cubs upon his back – and try as he might, they will not move. So tiger and children stay together and slowly, gently come to teach one another about bravery, kindness and belonging.
