Book Review

I read the last page out and asked my mummy to record it and send it to all my cousins. They loved it!

I loved this book because it made me think of all of my cousins!

The front cover shows cousins playing together and having fun, my favourite picture is when the cousins are doing the tug of war.

I like that the book tells you about different types of cousins like loud ones and quiet ones and ones that live nearby and some that live far away. This is just like my cousins.

I like that the cousins get together for birthdays and it says that they never miss each others’ birthdays. This is like me and my cousins.

This book gave me some ideas of things that I can do with my cousins like going camping.

I really loved reading this book out loud and my favourite page was the last one where it says cousins are our first friends, best friends and forever friends. I read the last page out and asked my mummy to record it and send it to all my cousins. They loved it!

I recommend this book to all children who have cousins and even those that don’t.

About the Book

A celebration of extended family:

I have more cousins than I can count on my fingers and toes.

Quiet cousins and loud cousins.
Dark cousins and fair cousins.
Young cousins and old cousins.

I have cousins who are near.
And some who are far.

But even those who are far feel near.
Because memories of them surround me, wrapping me up like a warm blanket.
