Book Review

The pictures in the stories give you a little break from reading

Storm liked that the three stories in this book where all about the lead up to Christmas she said “Mouse and Mole must be really good friends because in the first story mouse helped mole by making a snow mouse and then in the story about the advent calendar mole helped mouse with all the jobs and then in the last one mole sent the letters up the chimney but he did eat a mince pie!”

Storm read this book herself and loved the pictures being in the middle of the writing as she said it gave her a little break while she looked at them.

Storm told me all about the story and said that they had lots of jobs to do in December so that is what made Christmas come sooner. It was nice to hear her giggling at certain parts of the story especially when they bumped into each other thinking that each other where in bed and they thought it was Father Christmas.

This is definitely a book we will read again in the lead up to Christmas.
