The map at the end is my favourite page because I can see all the seas together
I really enjoyed our new book, it’s like going on an adventure. All the different fish made me want to swim with them. I like looking at the animals and all the creatures under the sea.
The pictures are bright and have lots of colour. We’ve read it lots of times already.
My favourite was the south coral sea, and I want to see all the oceans when I grow up.

About the Book

Caryl Hart
Caryl Hart is a UK-based children’s author who has written more than fifty picture books, board books and young fiction titles — among them favourites like Meet the Oceans and Thank You for the Little Things. She began writing for children in her early thirties after being inspired by library picture books, eventually publishing her first book in 2009. Beyond writing, she also runs creative literacy workshops for schools, libraries and community events — aiming to foster a love of reading and storytelling among young people.
Illustrator
Bethan Woollvin
Bethan Woollvin is a British children’s author and illustrator known for her bold, graphic style and feminist retellings of fairy tales. She won the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2014 for her debut picture book 'Little Red', and later earned the New Talent (Children’s Books) award at the 2017 World Illustration Awards.
