I really liked reading a longer story because I really like reading
I loved this book. Because I like that it’s called Madam Squeaker because it’s funny. I like it that the mice figure out how to stop the rats. I like it because there is one challenge on the first page and the last page. I love the story because there are lots and lot and lots of mice and they are cute.
The story is about lots of animals sharing and at the beginning the rats just don’t share and then at the end they learn to share. Madam Squeaker makes them all sit down and listen to her and that’s how they learn to share. The rats are bossing everyone around and they have all the food in the house. Madam Squeaker gets all the mice to back her up and the rats have to listen.
I really liked reading a longer story because I really like reading.
Mum’s comments: Noah really enjoyed this book, read it in one go and was really pleased and proud to have read something longer.

Crumbs on the counter, morsels on the floor – there should be plenty of food for Minetta the mouse to eat in Hollyhock House …
But the Ruling Rats are running rampage every night, taking the best of everything for themselves. Minetta has decided that enough is enough – it’s time the rats learn to share. The trouble is, Minetta is so small and her voice just a squeak. How will she ever make them listen …?
