I would like a giraffe in my school!
Sophia: I am getting ready to go to school and I am very excited. When I opened this book I liked looking at all the things to do with school and I pointed at all the numbers. I liked seeing all the boys and girls on their way to school and I really hope there are animals in my school. I would like a giraffe in my school. I liked the page about our classroom, I would love to dress up in my school.
Mum: The pages are all bright and colourful and the book covers everything from waking up and getting ready for school to lunchtime and home time. The book uses such positive messages that everybody who is getting ready for school will feel really prepared and happy to chat about the big changes that lie ahead

For toddlers who are wondering excitedly, perhaps a little apprehensively what school will be like this is the perfect book to get young children ready for this big milestone.
Questions such as, What will we do there? What if I miss Mummy? Do I have to go? are answered in this warm, witty and reassuring book for young children exploring everything they’ll need to know before starting school.
Written by Jane Porter and illustrated by Caroline Rabei this is a lovely picture book.
