I like the first and last pages because of all the pictures of the different dogs.

I think that Billy has a great idea to do a charity walk because he wants to raise money for the nurses so that they can help more people like his grandfather. This is like when me and my sister have done charity walks to raise money for charity.

I like that Ali is wearing wellies so her other shoes don’t get muddy. I liked that dogs were welcome on the walk and could play together. I like that lots of people joined the walk.

The cake sale was a good idea because it gives people a boost of energy for the walk. I think it’s a good way to welcome everyone as well.

My favourite dog is Teasel because he is small, smart and doesn’t look quick so I could catch him easily if he ran away. I really like the show dog too.

Jack is a bit cheeky because he ignored the sign saying ‘birds nesting- please be quiet’ and had a big munch of grass that disturbed the pheasant.

I like that Jack likes blackberries just like me. I liked it when the dogs started chasing the hares.

It made me laugh when Jack was eating the Victoria Sponge cake because I’ve never seen a pony eating cake before.

My favourite page is when Billy is with his grandad and they are smiling and they’ve got lots of money for the nurses.

I think Jack and Ali are kind because they like helping other people. I will take this book to school to show my class.

I would recommend this book to people who have got dogs and people who want to help others.
