I liked when they did a big hug and made friends again
I really enjoyed reading this book with my mummy. The pictures are fantastic and fill the whole page. I liked looking at all the pictures of Scribble and Swoop. Scribble was very not kind and cross. I liked when they did a big hug and made friends again. Sometimes I have to say sorry to my friends when we don’t want to play the same games.
Some feedback from Sophia’s Mum: I enjoyed reading this book to Sophia. The illustrations gave us so much to chat about and the topic is so relevant to all the things she is learning about playing with her friends at nursery. This will definitely be a story we revisit when we need a gentle reminder about kindness and having our own interests!
About the Book
This is a charming tale for young children about two woodland friends, Scribble and Swoop, who have a quarrel one day. Who will be the first to say sorry; and is it enough to say sorry without really meaning it?
Written by Barry Timms with gorgeous illustrations by Sean Johnson that have a timeless quality to them this is a perfect story for teaching young children the importance of meaningful apologies.
