Since we started reading this book Dylan’s been more cuddly
Dylan is really loving this book – He calls it ‘Mama Book!’ & jumps on my lap.
The illustrations are beautiful & inclusive and the words are sweet & touching.
Since we started reading this book Dylan’s been more cuddly and so I think maybe it’s helping him express his feelings more.
He loves turning the pages using the cut out section (sorry I can’t think of the right word for this just now) and so he finds it engaging & it encourages him to get involved.
This would make such a lovely Mother’s Day gift from child to Mum – we would definately recommend to add it to a book rotation!
About the Book
This bright, beautiful, chunky board book stands out with its examples of all the wonderful things Mums do with their babies; helping them to have fun, feel safe, discover the world around around them and, most importantly, showing them them how to love.
It would make a lovely baby-shower gift or the perfect present from a little-one for their Mummy on Mother’s Day.
The language by Isabel Otter is appropriately uncomplicated and Alicia Mas’ pictures are colourful making them useful to point to and introduce new vocabulary.
