The ghosts were funny and silly, not scary
From Dylan:
I really liked Giggling Ghosts! The ghosts were funny and silly, not scary. My favourite part was when the ghosts went to the play area. I really liked looking at the pictures of the different ghosts and seeing what they were doing.
I also liked spotting cats throughout the book, because I really like cats as well. When we finished it, I wanted to look through it again. I think other children who like funny, spooky stories would enjoy it too.
From Mum and Dad:
This one is right up Dylan’s street. He loves things that are spooky, but not scary, and tonally this was spot on. We’ve read this a few times, including twice in a row the first time because he liked it so much.
He thought the pictures were brilliant and kept saying “look at that one” whenever we turned a page. I think this is a perfect Halloween story for pre-school aged children.

Get ready to giggle!
These ghosties, they love scaring –
it’s their favourite thing to do.
Because, when they start scaring,
they can’t help but giggle too!
Sneak, spin, glide and BOOOOO your way through the night with the ghosts who just cannot help but te-he-he with glee in this spooky, interactive picture book, with actions to join in with on every page.
