Book Review

I liked finding out who the dinosaur belonged to by looking at the colourful pictures and listening to the descriptions

Laurie:
I really liked Am I Yours? because it was about a dinosaur. I liked finding out who the dinosaur belonged to by looking at the colourful pictures and listening to the descriptions. My favourite part was the rhyming words and joining in with them.

Mum:
Am I Yours? is a lovely picture book that is perfect for young children. My child really enjoyed following the dinosaur’s search to find out where he belongs, and the repeated question made it easy for them to join in with the reading.

A particular highlight was the use of rhyming words. The rhythm of the story makes it enjoyable to read aloud and gives children opportunities to join in and anticipate the words.

As a mum, I also liked the colourful illustrations and the way the story encourages children to think about family and belonging. It’s also a perfect choice for any little dinosaur lover.

It is a lovely story to share together and works well as a bedtime or quiet reading book.
